If you are looking for some great games on the Xbox One, you may have noticed that they have not been pre-added to the Games with Gold program for the month of July. July sees the addition of a number of great titles including: Oh, and guess what? We have five copies of each game to give away!
This month, Games with Gold is hitting a new milestone, as it’s now an annual subscription program. The program has been around since June 2010, when Microsoft released the Xbox 360, but the service has evolved over the years. The program has started with three months of free games a year, but by June 2017, it was up to six months. Now, it’s at its sixth full year of being available as an annual offering.
The Games with Gold program was launched back in August of 2016, and promises the best of EA games from their catalog for free for all Xbox One users. As the prices of games died down, and new games hit their respective releases, so did the Games with Gold program. But, this summer, EA made it a point that the Games with Gold program would be expanded to include games that were already revealed and released during the 2nd quarter of the year, as well as games that were announced during the 3rd quarter and released in the 4th quarter.. A remake of Conker’s Bad Fur Day, Conker from Rare: Live & Reloaded takes on the evil Tediz. In multiplayer mode, players can choose from six combat specialists, each with different skills, weapons and vehicles.
Midway Arcade Origins brings the arcade home with 31 games from the Midway catalog. Games include 720, Defender, Joust, Gauntlet, Robotron: 2084 and Spy Hunter.
Rock of Ages by the ACE 3 team: Make & Break is a competitive tower defense game with Monty Python-like humor and arcade action. The user-friendly level editor allows players to create the tracks of their dreams.
Finally, Planet Alpha by Team17 presents an alien world where players must master the power of day and night.

These games have a price tag of $79.96 and 3,000 Gamerscore. Planet Alpha will be available all month, Conker: Live & Reloaded will run from 1 to 15. July, Midway Arcade Origins from 16 to 31. July and Rock of Ages III: Make & Break will take place starting on the 16th. July to the 15th. The month of August will be available.
