This tutorial will guide you through the steps of installing an add-on called Bumblebee Kodi Addon on your Kodi media center. Bumblebee is a fork of Exodus which brings support for the NVIDIA Maxwell architecture to the popular Kodi media player.
A lot of you know me as the creator of Bumblebee, the open source addon for Kodi that enables media players to use a multiple GPU system to accelerate playback. I’ve gotten a lot of questions lately about whether or not Bumblebee can be used with Kodi. Unfortunately, as I discovered, there is no official Kodi Addon for Bumblebee, but there is a Bumblebee Addon for Kodi (on Github) that works perfectly. This is a great add on, and totally worth installing on your Kodi player.
Windows 11 is a new version of Windows that is now available to users as an Insider Preview. And soon it will be made available to everyone as a stable release. And by now you’ve probably heard about all the changes in Windows 11. The main new feature is the new user interface design, which includes a new settings page and a new docking location. Since Windows 11 has changed most of the settings, access to safe mode is also different. Here’s how to start Windows 11 in safe mode.
Safe Mode has been a well-known feature of Windows for many years. And if you’ve been a Windows user for any length of time, you already know that. But for now, it’s a diagnostic mode in Windows that only runs critical applications to fix your computer if something goes wrong. Safe mode is enabled in many operating systems, including Android.
Safe mode starts only with the default system and application settings. In addition to diagnosing and troubleshooting problems, you can also use it to perform some common actions when your PC’s battery is low. When you start your Windows computer in Safe Mode, you will find it in one of the right corners. Even without looking for safe mode, you can easily discover that your computer is running in safe mode.
Starting Windows 11 in safe mode
Now that you know more about Safe Mode, if you decide to start Windows 11 in Safe Mode, here are several methods to learn how to do so. Safe mode is a boot mode that can be useful in many cases. However, it is quite difficult to turn safe mode on or off. You may already be familiar with Windows 10, but since Windows 11 is new, we have given three ways to start Windows 11 in safe mode.
Using settings to start Windows 11 in safe mode
Open your Windows 11 computer settings.
Now go to System > Restore in the new settings overview.
Under Recovery Options you will find two settings. There you will need to click on the Restart Now button next to Advanced Startup.
A pop-up window will appear, click Restart now.
It will now restart your computer and show you various advanced settings. Select Troubleshooting > Advanced Settings.
Other settings are now displayed on the screen, select Startup settings > Restart.
The Windows 11 PC reboots and presents you with various boot options that you can use to start your Windows 11 PC.
Find safe mode, it is usually number 4, so type 4 or F4. If it is located somewhere else, enter that number or a function key.
That’s it, your Windows 11 computer will now boot into safe mode.
This is one of the simplest and easiest ways to boot Windows 11 in Safe Mode. It certainly works for all users. However, if you are one of the users for whom the first method did not work, try the following two methods.
Use the Restart option to start Windows 11 in Safe Mode
Click the Windows icon or type the available Windows key on the keyboard.
The Start menu opens, click on the Power icon.
Now click on the Restart option while holding down the Shift key.
Hold down the Shift key and release it after 2-3 seconds.
Now wait for Windows 11 to start in the advanced settings.
Under Advanced Options, go to Troubleshooting > Advanced Options.
On the next screen you will find several options, click Startup Settings > Reboot.
It will reboot and give you several options, choose safe mode. Safe mode is usually available under 4, so type 4 or F4. If it is located somewhere else, enter that number or a function key.
Then boot Windows 11 in safe mode.
It is also an easy way to start Windows 11 in safe mode. In addition to Windows 11, it also works on Windows 10. If the first two methods didn’t work for you, we have a third for you. So let’s test another method to connect to Windows 11 in Safe Mode. It works even if you don’t have access to the Windows operating system.
Use winRE to put Windows 11 in safe mode
Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds to turn off the computer.
Now press the power button to turn on the computer and as soon as you see the first logo like Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, immediately press and hold the power button for 10 seconds.
Your computer will now shut down. Restart the computer and when the first screen/logo appears, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds to turn the computer off again.
Finally, turn on the computer and let it boot up. Your computer will be in winRE.
Go to Troubleshooting > Advanced Settings > Startup Settings > Restart.
Your computer will now restart and offer you several options, choose safe mode. Safe mode is usually available under 4, so type 4 or F4. If it is located somewhere else, enter that number or a function key.
Then boot Windows 11 in safe mode.
This is another way to start Windows 11 in safe mode. This is a real challenge because you have to shut off the power in time. If you have now decided to disable safe mode in Windows 11, read the next section.
Disabling Safe Mode in Windows 11
It is easier to exit safe mode than to boot into safe mode. The easiest way to do this is to restart the computer using a simple procedure. When you restart the computer, it starts up normally. If you cannot disable safe mode, you can use the following method.
Open the Run dialog box. You can press Windows + R to open the Run dialog box.
Now type msconfig and click OK to open the configuration page.
Now in the Startup tab, deselect Safe Mode and click Apply.
Then restart the computer and it will boot normally.
