To Test, I Used My PC’s Specifications

Windows 10 64 Bit is the operating system I use for all of my games. This is the default OS I use until I indicate otherwise or fail to mention it. The RTX 2060TI was the graphics card I used to play this game. I wanted to see how well the Ray Tracing capabilities worked. If you have a lower-end GPU, such as a 1060, 1660, 1650, or a 1050TI, I’ll provide some recommendations in the findings and conclusion section. The storage device I utilized was an M.2 SSD with 500GB of capacity. A 32GB memory with a 3000MHz speed was utilized.

Conclusions and Findings

As I previously said, if you have a card like the 1060, 1660, 1650, or a 1050TI, you should definitely reduce the graphics settings from Low to Medium. This will greatly assist you in achieving the 60FPS threshold. I got an average FPS of 85-90 with the equipment mentioned above. As a result, considering that it is a 2021 game with Ray Tracing capabilities, I can say that the game is reasonably balanced. You may have stuttering problems. The resolution or any other background/OS applications would account for the most of it. If you need assistance with external settings, please let me know and I will create a new article for you.

With the following parameters, the game should run well. Please let me know if you have any problems in the comments section below. I’ll do my best to help you with it. I hope that this guide will assist you in obtaining acceptable framerates and visual quality so that you can enjoy The Ascent. Thank you for reading, and I’ll be back with a new one soon!
