PUBG is Free for an Entire Week Starting Today

PUBG, the popular game that’s been released in both PC and Xbox One, is finally free for an entire week.

PlayerUnknown’s BattleGrounds, or PUBG, is a game where you have to survive in a place that looks like a war zone. You have to battle other players to get to the end of the map. And everyone who gets to the end of the map wins, but you have to fight it out to see who wins. It may sound easy, but there is a lot more to these games than meets the eye. Keep reading to learn more, and good luck!

PUBG (Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds) has been one of the most popular games on Steam since it launched on Early Access back in March. Now, after the game’s full release, it’s free for the next week.. Read more about pubg mobile and let us know what you think.

If you’ve managed to avoid playing the smash FPS that kicked off the battle royale trend back in 2017, now’s your opportunity to rectify that. On Steam, the recently relaunched PUBG: Battlegrounds (yep, that’s its new name) is currently free to play and will remain so for the next week. You’ll get full access to everything PUBG has to offer, including some limited-time awards, if you download the game during the Free Play Week.

According to developer Krafton’s announcement, new players who join PUBG in the coming week will only have one restriction: access to the in-game store. If you want to get your hands on some store products, you’ll need to first buy the game. Apart from that, you’ll have full access to all maps, game modes, mission rewards, and other features. If you’re interested, you can also participate in the ongoing Blackpink x PUBG: Battlegrounds special event.

New players will receive certain exceptional goodies, according to Krafton. The Sleeveless Cheetah Top, Brown Utility Belt, Rugged (Beige) M16A4, Wrangler Shirt, and Wide Pants are among them (Red). Additionally, by creating a Global PUBG account and linking it to your Steam account, you can get your hands on some Traditional Glasses (Round). Even if you don’t care about the glasses, creating an account will allow you to maintain all of your earned awards, stats, and Survivor Pass progress once the Free Play Week is up. If you’re wondering, yes, the Survivor Pass must be purchased.

From its long-running battle with Fortnite to the recent controversial name change, PUBG has had a lot of ups and downs over the years. The name change is thought to have resulted from Krafton’s desire to distinguish the battle royale from other games set in the PUBG universe. For example, the upcoming smartphone game PUBG: New State will take place in a future scenario.

PUBG: Battlegrounds will be free till August 16 (sigh).

I’m a traditional jack-of-all-trades author who enjoys writing about a wide range of subjects, however gaming has always been my forte. That said, I’d jump at the chance to report any exciting news about superhero movies, Stephen King novels, or space travel. Alternatively, there are robots. Or Stephen King-like space-traveling superhero robots.
