What is Oberlo?

First you have to understand what Oberlo is. To put it simply, it is an app that is used with aliexpress to streamline all your dropshipping needs. The app synchronizes perfectly (and only) with Shopify and is available worldwide. If you do not have a Shopify store yet, that is fine. It only takes less than 5 minutes to create an account, and a fraction of that time to install and utilize the Oberlo app.

Overall, once I started with Oberlo, it made the importing and fulfilment process so easy. It used to be the biggest headache of my day, but now it feels merely like a passing thought. Other than streamlining a majority of the difficult processes behind dropshipping, Oberlo also updates tracking numbers, stock count and even prices. Meaning, with Oberlo, I never make the mistake of selling an out of stock item ever again. It even lets me choose a set markup so the prices will change automatically in the store.

It is so potent in fact, it almost feels like my own virtual personal assistant for all my eCommerce needs.

Easy Importing

There are 2 options to dropshipping in eCommerce. You can take the long route of manually searching Aliexpress and keying in all the details by yourself. Or, you could automate it, and import any item with all its details and images with a single click. With Oberlo, the latter is very possible.

In fact, Oberlo does it so well that this option has already vetted suppliers that are trustworthy and 100% familiar with dropshipping. Everything is so simple with Oberlo, a task that might take me hours to do, now only takes an effortless click on my part to be done. Plus, Oberlo makes it easier for everyone to customize the descriptions and images of their products. The process is so simple, even a complete beginner can do it.

Sales and fulfilment

Once a live and a sale comes through, the fulfillment is as easy as the importing. In fact, all orders automatically sync to your Oberlo dashboard. All you have to do is click the “order product” button and the app will automatically send all the relevant info to the supplier. The hardest task for you, is picking the shipping methods and confirming your payments. It essentially compresses all your minor yet tedious tasks into a single, easy, and almost autonomous step.

Once all that is done, the supplier chooses, packs, tracks, and then ships your items. Best of all, your dashboard will be updated in real-time, so you’ll know exactly what’s going on in real-time.
