To be honest, Battlefield 2042 is one of my favourite games on the PC. Its fluid and realistic visuals, coupled with a tight and satisfying single player campaign, have kept me coming back for more. Basically, it’s a beautiful game with a futuristic setting and a feature set that can’t be beat. These two things made it an obvious choice for our “Best of 2014” list, and we’re proud to report that the game was well received by PC gamers, earning it a strong 8.5 from the community.
Battlefield 2042 is an upcoming shooter game that takes place in a fictional future. In the game, you can play as the United States Marine Corps, Chinese People’s Liberation Army, and Russian Air Force. Battlefield 2042 is a very unique game. It takes the famous Battlefield series and combines it with the popular game Day of Defeat. This game is set in the near future after the second world war. It is a first person shooter and there are three factions involved: USA, Russia and China. The game features some very interesting gameplay elements, the most important of which is the “tech tree”, which is a sort of “tech tree” in the sense that it shows you what your soldiers have been equipped with over the years.

In its debut gameplay video, the first-person shooter looked fantastic, and with GPU costs showing no signs of decreasing, the difficulties of possibly updating our systems is putting some of us on edge.
Although publisher Electronic Arts and developer Dice have yet to disclose Battlefield 2042’s system requirements, due to leaked invites to a forthcoming technical test, we now have an early notion of the gear we’ll need to run the game.
