AOC AGM700 Gaming Mouse Guide

How many times have you tried to play a FPS game on your PC and ended up with sweaty hands due to the heated build up of your mouse? Would you like to get rid of that awful feeling of sweaty hands but at the same time maintain the control you need to be an expert? If so, the AOC AGM700 gaming mouse has got you covered.

The AOC AGM700 is a Bluetooth-enabled gaming mouse that packs in a lot of features, including 11 buttons, Omron switches, and an ergonomic design so you can enjoy long hours of game play.

The AOC AGM700 gaming mouse has been designed with the gamer in mind. It’s packed full of buttons, allowing you to customise the mouse to your liking. With 11 buttons and a wider than usual 12.5 inch OLED display, you can have complete control over your gamepad.

Unpacking and handling quality

There are exactly two things in the AOC AGM700 box: a mouse and a user manual. Really, what more do you need?

The mouse has a matte black finish with an illuminated Agon symbol on the palm. The mouse’s left and right buttons are made of plastic, but have a brushed aluminum finish that gives it a cool, industrial look. The sides have a rubber texture for a good grip. It has a braided cable with a red and black pattern and a USB Type-A port. There are eight buttons in total: Left click, right click, center click (scroll wheel), DPI change button, and two programmable buttons on the right – mode change button and DPI cycle button. In addition, an indicator on the side lets you know which profile you are in.

An interesting feature that sets the AGM700 apart from other mice in this class are the five removable washers on the plate underneath the mouse, which can be removed to adjust the weight. It’s not particularly heavy, even with five weights mounted. The position on the back of the mouse is also a bit unbalanced.

The execution of the game was good. I usually forgot she was there, which is probably the biggest compliment I can give a mouse. There’s a little slack in the left and right keys, but not enough to be distracting, and not enough to affect performance. I’ve never had any problems with drift or lag either. A DPI toggle button is very useful to quickly lower the DPI, that is for example B. is useful for headshots in a game.

Success with G-Tools

The AOC G-Tools software offers a number of interesting possibilities. It allows you to change macros for each mouse button, adjust DPI settings, polling rate, double-click speed, Windows pointer speed, scroll speed, and calibration.

You can also use it to create lighting effects, but they are quite limited. They only affect the Agon logo and scroll wheel. The profile indicator and the operating mode switch buttons remain red. In addition, there are only three types of lighting: static, breathable and flashing.

A new market for AOK?

With a $40 price tag, AOC’s AGM700 is comparable to mice like the Logitech G203 and the Razer Viper Mini. Both models have their strengths, but the AOC AGM700 stands out for its ability to adjust the weight and the addition of a DPI toggle button. The design is a bit simplistic, and the red accents make some of the limited lighting options less appealing, but it’s not without flaws in terms of raw performance.

A gaming mouse is the perfect purchase for any serious gamer, and the AGM700 is no exception. The mouse is easy to use, responsive, accurate, and comfortable. Plus, it has a cool design that’s different from your standard mouse, and the anti-slip rubber grips are comfortable and effective. The only thing that I wish the mouse had was a better laser sensor, but I can overlook that for the amazing value that the mouse offers..
