Ingredients:

6-7 cups thinly sliced granny smith apples

1/2 cup white sugar

3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

TOPPING:

1 cup old-fashioned oats

3/4 cup packed brown sugar

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

6 tablespoons butter, melted

How to make apple crisp:

1) Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

2) In a large bowl, combine the apples, white sugar, 3 tablespoons flour, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger. Mix well, and spread evenly in a 9×13 inch baking dish.

3) In a separate bowl, mix together the oats, brown sugar, 1/2 cup flour, and cinnamon. Stir in melted butter until well blended. Sprinkle over apple mixture.
