We’ve heard the Monster Hunter World: Rathalos Edition will be launching in the West, and now we’ve got a release window and a few other basic details.
Today at Gamescom, the European branch of the Korean studio behind Bless Online announced that it will be offering preorders and signing up for its closed beta test 2 (CBT2) for the game. CBT2 will allow players to begin playing from the first week of September, with the official launch window being “2 to 3 months to early fall”, just after the Tokyo Game Show.
MMO players already knew that Kakao was planning a second round of beta testing for Elyon in August. We knew this because the studio had told us about it for a month. But as of today, we have more details on what to expect, thanks to new information from the studio and the launch of its new website.
Pre-orders for the game will be accepted starting July 26, and on that day anyone can sign up for the second beta. Today’s press release also confirms a launch in the West in early fall of 2021, again in line with dates Kakao gave investors last year.
Kakao Games will open registration for the second closed beta test (CBT2) of the game Elyon starting on the 26th. July to 11. Open in August. The date of the five-day CBT2 will be announced shortly thereafter. More candidates will be admitted to the second round of the beta test. Players selected to participate will be notified by email.
CBT2 will offer a version much closer to the Korean version, with features such as.
– Killer class added
– Class balance adjusted and mana respawn abilities updated
– Players can expect a variety of challenging battles in the new dimensional portals
– Dungeons are now divided into individual and group dungeons
– Easier leveling with more XP for killing monsters of a certain strength
– Specific events for CBT2 members
– Improved platform and game service infrastructure for players in the Western market
– English, French, Spanish, and German localization
In our first beta test, MOP’s Carlo admitted that Elyon won’t necessarily impress MMO veterans, who will see it more as an evolution of something like TERA. But for youngsters who have yet to experience the magic of MMORPGs, Elyon will be a solid reference for years to come.
