Cyberpunk 2077 Patch Notes – Update 1.23 Fixes More

Cyberpunk 2077 is a single-player, action role-playing video game being developed by CD Projekt Red. It is a futuristic science fiction, role-playing video game, set in a world of the same name. The game is heavily based on the works of Mike Pondsmith, and is scheduled for release in 2019.

Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.23 has been released and it brings with it a number of bug fixes and tweaks. The biggest is the huge list of fixes pertaining to the performance issues in the game. In particular, this patch eradicates an issue that was causing the frame rate to drop when the game was in a heavily populated area.

The patch notes include numerous quest fixes, and the RPG takes another step towards better stability for players on all platforms. Update 1.23 also fixes an issue that caused NPC bodies to get stuck in stolen cars, and makes Cyberpunk 2077’s Adam Smasher immune to damage during animations between attack phases.

Quests and open world

Space Oddity

  • Fixed an issue where the open target package could change location.

Gig: Family affairs

  • Fixed an issue where Juliet’s car could disappear after completing the quest.
  • Fixed a problem with the power in Juliette’s house.
  • Fixed an issue that made it impossible to enter Julia’s house if the player didn’t meet any of the attribute requirements.

Robbery

  • Solved a problem where Jackie could fall through the glass.
  • Fixed an issue where some guards could not attack the player.
  • Problem solved where Officer Arasaki’s research goal could remain active after completion.
  • Fixed an issue where mechas were not appearing in the lobby.
  • Fixed a problem where some of Arasaki’s guards could walk through the door.
  • Fixed an issue where some guards could appear in the player’s line of sight.
  • Fixed an issue where Officer Arasaki’s corpse was inaccessible, preventing the player from looting the shard, which hindered progress.

Nomad

  • Unnecessary tooltips on buttons have been removed.

Hunting

  • The message segment on the river shard now plays the sound correctly.

The Beast Within

  • Fixed an issue where progress could be frozen if a player left Clare too soon after a race in Santo Domingo.

Queen’s Highway

  • Fixed an issue where a Basilisk could go through some trees.

On the street

  • Fixed an issue where dialog options would not appear when talking to Wakako.

Transfer to death

  • The smoke and dust no longer flicker when you ride the Basilisk.

Gig: Goodbye, Night City

  • Fixed an issue that allowed progress to freeze after saving Bruce if the player had called Delamain.

Path of Glory

  • Fixed problem that allowed the V to get stuck in the AV if it had not yet arrived at the landing site.

Gig: No support

  • Fixed an issue where it was impossible to open the door to Dakota’s Garage at the end of the quest.
  • Fixed an issue where Iris could teleport instead of walking.

  • Fixed a problem where the technician’s car could cross the intersection in a straight line instead of turning right.
  • Fixed an issue where the prompt to use coolant on the 8ug8ear could be selected while it was off, which could interrupt the animation.
  • Fixed an issue that made it impossible to register 8ug8ear.
  • Fixed an issue where NPCs could appear underground and block progress at the location.

Stability and performance

  • Numerous bug fixes in animation, UI, stages, physics and game systems.
  • Memory optimization and better memory management across systems (fewer crashes).
  • Various optimizations of the console’s processor.
  • Improving memory and I/O, reducing the number of occurrences of NPCs with the same external data in the same area, and improving data flow.

Specific for PC

  • Fixed an issue where the refresh button could not be pressed when playing in 1280×720 resolution.
  • Fixed an issue where switching from windowed to full screen mode with Alt+Enter would cause the game to stop responding.
  • (Steam) Changing the default language setting now sets the language of the Steam client.
  • If incomplete or corrupted game data is detected, a pop-up message will appear asking you to check the integrity of the game data.

Specific Xbox

  • Fixed an issue where leaving the game while the scene was fading could cause the game to become partially unresponsive.
  • Fixed an issue where the pause menu would open by itself if the Xbox manual and pause menu were closed shortly after each other.
