Bad Reception: Borderlands 3 Side Mission Walkthrough

There is a common mistake that many of us make when we are playing a game. We get caught up in the story, and forget that the game world is also a real place we need to navigate. So I had to find a mission in Borderlands 3 that was a complete joke that I could actually complete. I found it, but I also found that it was so bad that it’s actually funny.

While I’m playing through Borderlands 3’s main story, I’ve been messing around with the game’s side missions as well. The first one I played was called “Bad Reception” which tasks players with building and repairing a radio station out of junk and salvaged parts. The mission is interesting because it has no enemies, and instead players fly around to collect parts and build the station. The finished product looks like this:

Hey there, I’m a jack of all trades, but a master of none. I can play any game at any time, but I can never master them. “But what about ‘Borderlands’? It’s a game, not an art!” I hear you say, but I’ll grant you, Borderlands’ art is pretty bad. So what do we do when the most complex use-of-time-in-gaming doesn’t bring us any closer to ‘mastering’ it? We try something else, I guess. That’s why I am here with my guide on how to beat the Side Mission “Bad Reception”.

Many athletes have their own rules that they must adhere to before going out on the field or court. Former Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brad Johnson had a different chip for every home game. He appeared at the stadium almost four hours before the game, then disappeared for half an hour. Where did he go?

Brad Johnson has had two jobs with the Minnesota Vikings.

Johnson played college football at Florida State and was selected in the ninth round of the 1992 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings. Thirteen quarterbacks were selected ahead of Johnson, including Tony Sacca, Matt Blandin, Ricky Jones, Mike Pawlawski, Will Furrer, Chris Hakel and Craig Erickson. Even his college teammate, Casey Weldon, was selected five laps ahead of him.

He played 15 years in the NFL for four different teams. After spending the first five years of his career with the Vikings, he played two years in Washington for the team he loved as a kid. From there, he moved to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he was the starting quarterback and won Super Bowl 37.

He left Tampa after four seasons and returned to Minnesota for two more. He ended his career after two years with the Dallas Cowboys. I don’t even know if I played there in my first year, Johnson said in an interview with Sportscasting about his time in Dallas. I think I might have hit a game. Tony Romo was the quarterback, and he was on a roll. We won 13-3 and took first place.

In my second year, I played three games. My body was torn to pieces. I couldn’t run anymore. My body collapsed.

Where did Brad Johnson go for the Minnesota Vikings home games?

Johnson played in only one game in his first two seasons with the Vikings, when he was the backup to Rich Gannon and Sean Salisbury. He rarely played the next two seasons, supporting Warren Moon. He started eight games in the 1996 season with a 5-3 record. Johnson began to develop a rhythm and routine.

He always prepared well for games and studied the game plan carefully. Johnson said he always got to the stadium early.

Let’s say it was a 1 p.m. game, Johnson said. We didn’t have to go to the field an hour before the game. I arrived at about 9:45 and went through my stuff.

Then he was nowhere to be found.

I slept in the stadium locker room, he said. There was a locker behind the metal seats in the stadium, and I always hung a bell on my watch. Before each game, I’d go in and take a 30-minute nap.

Johnson won the Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

In his first season with the Buccaneers, Johnson set a team record for passing yards in a single season with 3,406 yards. The following year, he reached the second Pro Bowl of his career, with 3,049 yards in 13 games. He scored 22 touchdowns and threw six interceptions. With Johnson at center, the Bucks won 10-3. They won Super Bowl 37 with a convincing 48-21 victory over the Oakland Raiders.

Tampa is a team with a small market, but this year we have a Monday night game, Johnson said. We had rock stars on the team – Mike Elstott, Keyshawn Johnson, Warren Sapp, Derrick Brooks. We went 3-1 over four periods and finished 12-4.

This year they revamped the talent and drafted some free agents, probably between 15 and 19. I had a very good relationship with (head coach) Jon Gruden. He was really the coordinator, so I was with him all the time. It was easy to play with him.

His career with Tampa ended after the 2004 season. Johnson spent the next two years in Minnesota, where he could take a nap before home games.
