The global smartphone market continues to pick up steam, and the newest member of the pack is the Galaxy S21. We’ll be diving into the upcoming device in depth, but let’s start with a quick rundown of the features and specs. First and foremost, it’s powered by the Snapdragon 670 SoC, which is a great mid-range offering with plenty of power and top-tier internals. The S21 will come with Samsung’s brand new Infinity-O Display, with a notch on the top of the screen that houses the front-facing camera. This will be the first S-series phone with a notch on the display.

Today, we’re getting our first chance to check out the latest in virtual reality hardware, including the Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and PlayStation VR. This trio of headsets is at the bleeding edge of virtual reality technology, with some notable differences among them. The Rift is a relatively simple headset that uses a pair of “Constellation” sensors to track head movement and allow the wearer to see their own hands in the virtual world. The Vive on the other hand is the most complicated of the three, employing two base stations that track its headsets position and allow the player to walk around. Finally, the PlayStation VR is the least complicated of the trio, using only a camera to track the player’s head.

Back 4 Blood Release Date - Everything We Know

Back 4 Blood originally came to our attention in 2019, when developer Turtle Rock Studios and publisher Warner Bros. announced they were working on the co-op zombie shooter, and the game’s release date has been on our thoughts ever since.

The developer, best known for its work on the Left 4 Dead series — a first-person shooter that helped define a subgenre centered on slaying seemingly endless waves of zombies – is hoping to carry the torch with Back 4 Blood while adding some fresh mojo to the popular recipe.

Back 4 Blood’s release date, plot, characters, gameplay, and more are all detailed here.

Release Date for Back 4 Blood

The release date for Back 4 Blood has been pushed back from June to October 12, 2021. While the wait may be lengthier, summer beta testing will begin in August after a limited number of fortunate players were given access to an alpha version of the game, allowing us additional opportunities to check out the game before it is released and provide feedback to the developers.

With this release, Turtle Rock Studios is aiming for the PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, and PS4.

Back 4 Blood Characters and Story

Back 4 Blood’s narrative begins with players entering the planet after a devastating epidemic has infected the majority of mankind with the Devil Worm parasite.

The parasite transforms individuals who are infected into hungry monsters known as the Ridden, while others mutate into hideous abominations with heightened reflexes, enhanced strength, and wonderful skills like as throwing lethal acid vomit against opponents.

You play as a seasoned Cleaner who is hell-bent on defeating the zombie menace despite being severely outmanned.

Each of the eight playable Cleaners has their own personality, additional weapons, and special abilities that help them in combat. Four of them have been named so far: Walker, Holly, Evangelo, and Hoffman, according to Turtle Rock Studios.

Gameplay of Back 4 Blood

Back 4 Blood will feel similar to Left 4 Dead gamers who have previously slain a large number of infected. At its most basic level, having a gun arsenal, communicating with your squad, and maintaining a steady aim get the job done.

Whether human or AI-controlled, you always join the fight with three companions. Using the Cleaners’ weaponry and character Perks (one for each character) effectively increases your chances of completing the task.

Assault rifles, some with modifications like grips or scopes, shotguns, SMGs, revolvers, and bats were among the weapons shown thus far.

Back 4 Blood will have both a narrative campaign and a multiplayer option in which you may play as tougher versions of the Ridden. The nimble four-armed Stinger, the bulky Retch, Tall Boy, and the gigantic Ogre are among them.

The Game Director is a background mechanism that keeps you on your toes by sending adversaries your way and altering aspects of the environment – such as where you locate vital equipment – with each run.

It may also toughen opponents and produce mutant boss monsters that are up to 20 feet/6 meters tall.

Back 4 Blood adds a card system inspired by rogue-lite games to the mix. The Game Director plays a set of Corruption cards at the start of each map.

These are modifications that make ammunition scarce, generate fog on the battlefield, or cause the Retch’s acid spew assault to leave damaging puddles on the ground.

Players may then utilize their own cards, which they earn by accomplishing tasks and goals, to obtain advantages such as quicker healing, more ammunition, or a greater chance of discovering a certain kind of weapon in the area.

What Stores Sell Back 4 Blood?

The PC version of Back 4 Blood will cost 59,99$/59,99€ (or your regional equivalent) and will be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store. The game is available on the Microsoft and PlayStation shops for consoles. Alternatively, after the game is released, it will be accessible on Xbox Game Pass.
