How To Fix A Bad Credentials Error
The first thing you should do is double-check the Windows Clock Settings. The most common cause of this issue is a time setup that is out of sync. Make sure your Windows Clock and the date are both set properly. If you’re having difficulty figuring it out, just Google “what is my time” and you’ll find it. If you alternate between Linux and Windows, for example, you may avoid a de-synchronized clock in Windows by configuring Linux to operate on local time. To get started, just type the following instructions into your terminal:
- set-local-rtc 1 –adjust-system-clock timedatectl
Run the following command in the terminal to reverse the aforementioned change:
- set-local-rtc 0 –adjust-system-clock timedatectl
Here, the only variables are 0 and 1. You should be able to test the settings by simply switching between the two. Because most of us utilize single-OS systems, the preceding set of terminal instructions is unlikely to be required. Nonetheless, make a mental note of them as a precaution.
