To use the Windows Event Viewer

Viewing the Windows Event Log
Many Windows users rely on this built-in tool to search for events on their computer. This tool has two major advantages: It is already installed on your computer and has a very intuitive interface. You can run the Windows Event Log Viewer by typing Event Viewer in the search bar. The tool screen is divided into three parts: Event categories are in the left sidebar, detailed information about the event is in the middle of the window, and available actions are in the right sidebar. In the left pane, you can select one or all of the event types. The upper part is focused on an administrative event. By tapping the various elements of the central control panel, you can obtain general or detailed information about the event. The Event Log Explorer reads events from its own temporary storage to enable faster analysis of the logs. Of course, you can choose between main memory and disk memory. MyEventViewer is another interesting and easier alternative to Microsoft Event Log Viewer. This tool allows you to view multiple event logs in a list, with a description of the event and the data. In addition, the event description and data are displayed in the main window and do not open in a new window. This software does not require any installation process or additional DLL files, you just need to run the executable file. MyEventViewer allows you to select multiple event items and save them to HTML/Text/XML files. Of course, it is also possible to copy them to the clipboard and then paste them into an Excel document. The window in MyEventViewer can consist of 2 areas. The top section shows a list of all events, and if you select one, its description is displayed in the bottom window.
